As the Professional Commission (PRC) reveals the result for the Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE) 2013 on June 8, the University of Nueva Caceres (UNC) result percentage hits 80.49 for the first takers which was one of the highest in the entire Bicol region.
The NLE June 2013 was given last June 2-3 by the Board of Nursing. There were 38,656 nursing students who took the said examination. This year’s national passing percentage result was forty-two percent which is up by 7.54% compared to the most recent on Dec. 2013.
Out of 38,656 national passers there were 38 new UNC Registered Nurses namely: Alcantara, Jenny; Andres, Roden; Baduya, Mark Keven; Barce, Francis Deo; Bolante, Enna, Alexis;Cabalquinto, Charity; Capuz, Irene; Cea, Louie; Cirujales, Jonaleigh; Danabar, Zilla; Demesa, Elmer; De Villa, Carlo; Del Puerto, Justin Carlo-Melvin; Dimabayao, Jr., Bernie Arnel; Dimaiwat, Bobby; Fernando, Kristine; Festijo, Jecca; Gagero, Xenon; Gutierrez, Christian Paul; Inocencio, Rico; Lazarte, Marie Ann
Nase; Llaguno, Ching Gem; Luis, Lawrence; Mendoza, Mary France; Monasterial, Regie; Morado, Tessa; Olea, Mia Isabel; Orlanda, Dianna Daisse; Pasilaban, Mark Ferdinand;Pena, Janine; Porton, Kevin Leo; Ragodon, Marie Joy; Sanarez,Jan Karla; San Juan, Kevin; Sebello, Steffanny Anne; Taday, JohnPaul and Toledano, Francia.
In addition, the UNC- Department of Nursing headed by Dean Carmelita S. Baylon, RN, MSN steered a pay-off program to the passers dubbed as “Tribute: 2013 NLE Board Passers” last July 27 at the Demo Room which was started by a Eucharistic Celebration in the UNC Chapel, Inspirational Message of the Dean & Professors and Testimonials from the passers.
These past few years, under Dean Baylon’s administration, out of 24 schools in Bicol, UNC has been in the NLE regional Top 5. (Christine Paular)
